Exciting news is on the horizon for the Simi Valley community! SteelWave and Steerpoint Capital are proud to share that they officially acquired the Simi Valley Town Center in December 2024—and now, they’re launching a series of outreach events in July and August to connect directly with local residents, business leaders, and civic groups.
As part of their commitment to transparency and community engagement, the new ownership team will meet with two local Rotary groups, the Chamber of Commerce, and is actively participating in local charity events.
In addition, a public community meeting will be held the evening of Tuesday, July 22nd at the Simi Valley Town Center. All are welcome to attend. This open forum will be a unique opportunity for residents to hear directly from SteelWave and Steerpoint leadership about their exciting vision for revitalizing and reimagining this important community hub—including announcements of new tenants, the types of retailers and uses they are aiming to attract, previews of new architectural designs and upgraded amenities, and plans to incorporate a thoughtfully designed mixed-use component that will bring new energy and life to the center.
We’re incredibly excited to be part of the future of the Simi Valley Town Center,” said Gregg Hall, Managing Director at SteelWave. “This property holds so much potential, and we’re committed to working hand-in-hand with the community as we shape the next chapter for this local landmark.
The July 22nd meeting will include a presentation from the project team followed by an open Q&A session. Community feedback will play a vital role in shaping the development process, ensuring the Town Center reflects the values and aspirations of Simi Valley residents.
